Processing of visitors’ and users’ personal data

 

What is personal data?


“Personal data" is any information concerning you and which enables you to be identified either directly or indirectly.

This concerns for example your ID, name, gender, date of birth, postal address or e-mail address.
In order to guarantee the optimal use of our services and notably our customised services, you send the MACS certain personal data. Sending certain data is even essential in order to obtain specific services (e.g. purchasing tickets via the Elloha platform or sending you our newsletters).

Personal data can thus also relate to usage data, which is automatically collected when you connect to our website. We store information concerning your use of the website through a tracing procedure, such as a cookie.

2. Data processing responsibility

The MACS determines the means and the purpose of collecting your personal data. The MACS is therefore responsible for processing this data.

·    Your data are processed and stored solely by the MACS. If you have any questions or would like to check your data, please contact our data manager at info.macs@grand-hornu.be

 

3. Purpose of processing

The MACS may process your personal information:

a. in order to provide you with the information or services that you have requested (notably for sending newsletters or requests for visuals); and/or

b. in order to collect information which will enable us to improve our website, products and services (notably by means of cookies)

 

4. Management of your personal data

·    Your personal data will be used solely to send you the MACS newsletter.
·    Personal data are not sent to any other entity or company.
·    Your data are stored until you unsubscribe.
·    You are entitled to access your personal data, to obtain a copy and even correct, modify or delete this data. You are also entitled to restrict the processing of this data or oppose the processing of this data.

5. Storage of your personal data

We use the Mailchimp programme to manage and send our newsletters. 
As a result, your personal data are stored by the actual Mailchimp programme. Mailchimp guarantees that its Data Processing Addendum has been drafted to comply with GDPR requirements in order to enable the MACS to transfer personal data within the EEA (European Economic Area)/United Kingdom to Mailchimp in the United States and to enable Mailchimp to legally process this data on behalf of the MACS.

6. Use of cookies


Our website uses audience measurement cookies (tracking tool), notably Google Analytics and Pixels Facebook. These cookies enable us to analyse traffic on our website and the behaviour of users, in order to optimise the user experience.
