Sixth project of the chef Sang Hoon Degeimbre (L’air du temps**, Liernu)
The restaurant and cafeteria located in the heart of Grand Hornu proposes local cuisine inspired by producers from the surrounding area. Using seasonal produce, vegetables from the garden and zero-waste techniques, the chef Olivier De Vriendt is an advocate of committed, responsible gastronomy in the restaurant’s monthly menu as well as the snacks available from the cafeteria’s new automatic distributors. Rizom also proposes a selection of Belgian products and degustation dishes to take away, available from the Riz-Home boutique (situated in the left wing of the restaurant).
